Overview

What we collect

If you email alexiso@routhier.org, the message is read first by Alexis, an AI digital worker who drafts replies that Paul approves. We receive your email address and what you write. Hosting providers may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type.

Website analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details, which Google uses to produce anonymous traffic reports for us. Google signals and ad personalization are not turned on, and we do not use this data to identify you. You can block it with your browser settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.

The chat assistant

The Ask Alexis chat on this site runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us, not stored and not shared. If you book time or email us, that is a separate step you choose to take.

The weekly brief signup

If you sign up for the weekly brief, the form asks for your name and email address only. They are saved on this site’s own web host in a private file that cannot be opened from the web; no other service receives them. Alexis, the AI digital worker, reads the new signups and shows them to Paul, who approves each addition to the mailing list. We use them only to send the brief, and we do not sell or share them. To leave the list, reply “unsubscribe” to any brief or write to alexiso@routhier.org and we will remove you.

Blog comments

If you leave a comment on an article, the form asks for your name and your comment, and, only if you choose, your email address so we can tell you when someone replies to your comment (one short email per reply, with a link; no other use). Your email is never shown on the site and is not shared or used for anything else. The comment is saved on this site’s own web host in a private file and is not shown to anyone until Paul has read and approved it. Alexis, the AI digital worker, shows Paul the waiting comments, and Paul decides. Approved comments, and replies from other visitors (also approved by Paul first), show the name and words on the article. To have a comment removed, write to alexiso@routhier.org.

How we use it

To reply to you and, if you ask, to send the weekly brief. We do not sell personal data.

You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or stop emailing you, at any time by writing to alexiso@routhier.org.
